Jonas Teuwen is a tenure-track researcher in the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Radboud University Medical Center. Previously, after his studies in Applied Mathematics at theDelft University of Technology he complete his PhD titled Shedding new light on Gaussian harmonic analysis at the same university. He started as a postdoctoral researcher in 2016 at the Netherlands Cancer Institute/Antoni van Leeuwenhoek hospital and continued within the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group. His current work focuses on efficient deep learning algorithms for cancer detection in breast image modalities. He is currently funded by the NWOPerspectief Program Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis.
