Cristina Gonzalez Gonzalo graduated in 2016 from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid with a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Audiovisual Systems Engineering. In 2017 she received her Master’s degree (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. She joined the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group as a PhD candidate in October 2017, as part of the Retina Research Group. She is currently working on automatic screening of eye diseases using deep learning techniques, under the supervision of Clarisa Sanchez.
